Over the years, while helping the two children who struggled with math with their homework, there have been times when both my children and myself have come to be very frustrated. The only thing that was happening at that table was the creation of a very strong dislike for math. No matter how many distinct ways I tried to elaborate the math concept, they just were not getting it. The longer that we sat there, the worse it got. While 2 x 2 = 4 may be true, so was math + homework = frustration.

So, I did what every parent does these days, I sat down at my computer and entered the word "math" in the Google crusade box. The crusade results showed that there were over 100,000,000 results. 2. Play math games. There are many good resources for this or Generate your own. For instance, look through a magazine and find several coupons and then shape out which one offers the best deal.
